Zauberberg’s self-catering cottage is ideal if you want to wind down, relax and enjoy a “home away from home” on the coast. All our buildings are traditional Knysna timber cottages with a warm and cozy ambience. Our garden is indigenous and spatious, offering you privacy and quiet, as well as lovely views onto the lagoon and the Knysna Heads.
Our beautiful Lemon Tree Cottage offers 2 bedrooms, each with a private entrance and ensuite bath with shower. In the upstairs section you will find a large lounge with a fire place, a bar and kitchen counter, dish washer, fridge and cooking facilities. On the outdoor verandah there is a braai (barbeque). This is the place to relax and enjoy the view onto the Knysna Lagoon.
We only rent out one cottage on our property – so you will be able to enjoy real privacy and peace of mind at Zauberberg!
Self Catering Cottage or B&B accommodation in Knysna
During School Holidays and Oyster Festival Season we offer Knysna self-catering accommodation – in case of a longer stay also with a breakfast basket for your first morning, allowing you an easy start into your Knysna holiday.
During the holiday season and Oyster Festival in July you can choose between a smaller and a larger Knysna self-catering cottage, both fully equipped for self-catering.
Shopping for groceries is close by and Knysna offers a wide variety of super markets, malls and smaller shops.
Get some of our local baker Markus’s excellent bread at Isle de pain bakery and fresh fish at Seafood Safari, or Karoo Lamb and steaks at Greef’s butchery. And then of course there’s Mitchell’s Brewery for connossoirs of ‘real’ beer…
